  1. Transcripts from all prior academic institutions - Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions of higher education that were attended, regardless of whether a degree was obtained.  Applicants who have received undergraduate or graduate degrees from foreign institutions must have their transcript(s) evaluated by World Education Services (WES) or another transcript evaluation service that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) and have that evaluation sent to our office by WES.

English proficiency without a foreign law degree - applicants whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) (we will also accept an official score from the IELTS) since a thorough and excellent command of written and spoken English is crucial to success for all students in the MSL program. The minimum TOEFL score requirement is 100 iBT / 250 CBT / 600 PBT.

    English proficiency with a foreign law degree - applicants with a foreign law degree must demonstrate English proficiency by taking a language test. Applicants are exempt from this requirement if they hold a first degree in law from a school in: Australia, 伯利兹, 博茨瓦纳, 加拿大(魁北克以外), 英联邦加勒比, 加纳, 英国, 印度, 爱尔兰, 新西兰, 尼日利亚, 苏格兰, 新加坡, 南非, 和津巴布韦.
